Platform Rules
Last updated: May 17, 2026
Purpose
These Platform Rules describe content and uses that are not allowed on Skillbridge. They supplement our Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and Cookie Policy.
Skillbridge is a B2B software service for recruitment and staffing workflows: analyzing CVs and candidate profiles, processing proposals and client documents, matching, and collaboration. It is not a public social network. However, you may upload or enter documents and information about candidates, clients, missions, companies, or colleagues. That content must comply with the law, respect third-party rights, and follow these rules.
Scope
These rules apply to:
- user accounts and profile information;
- CVs and other candidate documents;
- proposals, calls for proposals, client documents, and related metadata;
- support tickets and messages you send to Skillbridge;
- file names, descriptions, free-text fields, and data shared with other users in the Service;
- any abusive use of the application, APIs, or integrations.
General principles
When using Skillbridge, you must:
- use the Service for lawful professional purposes (recruitment, staffing, talent matching);
- upload and process personal data only when you have a valid legal basis and, where required, have informed the individuals concerned;
- limit data to what is relevant to recruitment, staffing, or matching;
- review AI-generated analyses and matching results before making hiring or business decisions;
- respect the confidentiality of candidates, clients, colleagues, and partners;
- not use Skillbridge to automate unlawful or discriminatory decisions.
You remain responsible for content you upload and for compliance with employment, data protection, and anti-discrimination laws that apply to you.
Prohibited content and conduct
1. Adult and sexual content
You must not use Skillbridge to import, store, generate, share, or promote:
- pornographic or sexually explicit material;
- sexual services, escorting, solicitation, or sexual exploitation;
- sexual content involving a non-consenting person;
- sexual content involving, or appearing to involve, a minor.
Practical note: A non-explicit professional reference in an HR document (for example, a prior employer in a CV) is not automatically a violation. Sexual content that is not needed for legitimate recruitment purposes must not be kept in the Service.
2. Violent or criminal behavior
You must not use Skillbridge to:
- threaten, encourage, or organize violence;
- promote violent or criminal organizations;
- facilitate fraud, theft, scams, extortion, or other illegal activity;
- recruit for or coordinate criminal activity.
3. Child safety
Skillbridge has zero tolerance for content or conduct related to child exploitation, abuse, sexualization, grooming, endangerment, or violence against children.
Such content may result in immediate removal, account suspension, and, where appropriate, reporting to competent authorities.
4. Harassment, bullying, and abusive behavior
You must not use Skillbridge to:
- harass, intimidate, threaten, or humiliate a person;
- target a person or group with repeated attacks;
- share content intended to harm someone’s reputation or safety;
- use candidate or colleague data to apply undue pressure or harassment.
5. Discrimination and hate
You must not use Skillbridge to promote, encourage, or implement discrimination based on characteristics protected by applicable law, including (where relevant):
- origin or nationality;
- sex, gender identity, or gender expression;
- sexual orientation;
- religion;
- age;
- disability;
- health status or pregnancy;
- political opinions or trade-union membership;
- any other protected characteristic.
Skillbridge must not be used to automate or justify discriminatory hiring or staffing decisions.
6. Self-harm, suicide, and eating disorders
You must not use Skillbridge to encourage, glorify, organize, or provide instructions for:
- self-harm;
- suicide;
- dangerous health-related behavior;
- eating disorders.
If such content appears incidentally in a candidate document, handle it with care: minimize what you store and retain it only if strictly justified for a legitimate professional purpose.
7. Deceptive media and falsified documents
You must not use Skillbridge to:
- create or distribute fake documents intended to mislead;
- falsify a CV, identity, experience, diploma, or reference;
- share manipulated media presented as authentic;
- use AI or the Service to generate false information about a candidate, client, or third party.
8. Private and sensitive information
You must not import or share private information without authorization or a proper legal basis, including:
- identity documents (unless strictly necessary and lawful);
- full bank or payment card details;
- passwords, API keys, tokens, or secrets;
- medical or other special category data that is not necessary for your recruitment purpose;
- personal addresses or private contact details that are not relevant;
- third-party data when you lack a right or valid basis to process it.
CVs may include professional or application contact details. Keep such data limited to legitimate recruitment or matching purposes, as described in our Privacy Policy.
9. Non-consensual intimate imagery
You must not import, store, generate, share, or threaten to share intimate images or information without the explicit consent of the person concerned. This includes AI-generated or altered intimate content.
10. Security
You must not:
- access accounts, documents, or APIs without authorization;
- bypass access controls or authentication;
- perform security testing without our prior written authorization;
- upload malware, ransomware, malicious scripts, or weaponized files;
- exploit a vulnerability instead of reporting it responsibly;
- expose other users’ secrets, tokens, cookies, or credentials.
Report security issues to service@skill-bridge.fr with the subject line “Security”, or use our Contact page. Do not include passwords or unnecessary sensitive data in your report.
11. Deceptive behavior
You must not use Skillbridge to:
- impersonate a person or organization;
- create an account with false or misleading information;
- send fraudulent support requests;
- manipulate data to obtain unauthorized access, billing advantage, or an unfair outcome;
- evade a suspension or security measure.
12. Dangerous acts
You must not use Skillbridge to create, promote, or facilitate:
- dangerous physical acts;
- instructions to build weapons or explosives;
- dangerous misuse of substances;
- conduct that poses a serious risk of harm to others.
13. Copyright and trademarks
You must respect intellectual property rights. You must not import, copy, share, or use:
- protected documents without permission;
- third-party trademarks or logos in a misleading way;
- databases or files extracted without rights;
- content that infringes a third party’s rights.
CVs, job descriptions, and proposals must be used only in a lawful, authorized professional context.
Reporting abuse or violations
There is no separate in-app “report” button today. To report content or behavior that may violate these rules, unauthorized access, illegal material, or a security concern:

Include where possible:
- your email address (and the account involved, if relevant);
- the type of problem (rules violation, security, etc.);

- dates, file names, or other identifiers available in the Service;
- only the personal data needed to investigate—do not send passwords or unrelated sensitive files.
For personal data rights (access, deletion, export), see Manage my data or email with subject “Personal data (GDPR)”.
Enforcement
Skillbridge is not a fully automated moderation platform. We may review reports and take action depending on severity and context, including:
- asking you to correct or remove content;
- limiting certain features;
- temporarily suspending an account;
- deleting an account;
- removing or isolating a file;
- refusing manifestly abusive requests;
- retaining certain records for security, evidence, or legal obligations;
- notifying competent authorities when the law requires or permits.
We may update these rules from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
Appeals
If you believe your account or content was restricted in error, contact us at service@skill-bridge.fr or via Contact with the subject line “Platform rules — appeal”. Explain what happened and include the email address associated with your account.
We aim to review appeals within a reasonable time. Complex cases may take longer.
