Manage my data

About this page
This page explains how to exercise your rights regarding personal data processed by Skillbridge (published by CaTT Solutions). It supplements our Privacy Policy, which describes what we collect, why we use it, and how long we keep it.
Some actions are available directly in the application. For other requests (for example, a full copy of your data or confirmation that specific data has been erased), contact us using the details below.
Your rights
If you are in the European Economic Area, the UK, or another jurisdiction with similar laws, you may have the following rights in relation to your personal data, subject to applicable conditions and exceptions:
| Right | Summary |
|---|---|
| Access | Know whether we process your data and obtain a copy |
| Rectification | Correct inaccurate or incomplete data |
| Erasure | Request deletion in certain circumstances |
| Restriction | Ask us to limit processing in certain circumstances |
| Objection | Object to certain processing based on legitimate interests |
| Portability | Receive data you provided in a structured, commonly used format, where applicable |
| Withdraw consent | Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent (for example, optional cookies) |
For more detail, see section 12 of our Privacy Policy.
What you can do in the app
When you are signed in, you can manage some data without sending a request:
| Action | Where |
|---|---|
| Update your profile (name, email, phone) | Settings (account profile) |
| Change your password | Settings → Security (password reset link sent to your email) |
| Delete uploaded files (for example, CVs or proposals) | Candidate and proposal lists in the Service, where the delete action is available |
| Delete your account | Settings → Security → Delete account (see below) |
| Manage cookies | Cookie banner, footer /cookie-settings, or Settings → Privacy & data → Cookie settings |
Settings → Privacy & data also links to this page, our Privacy Policy, Platform Rules, and account deletion.
Request access to your data
You can ask whether Skillbridge processes personal data about you and request a copy of the data we hold about you as an account holder.
There is no self-service download of all personal data in the application today. Send your request to service@skill-bridge.fr with the subject line “Personal data (GDPR) — access”, or use our Contact page.
Request correction
You can correct much of your account profile directly in Settings.
If you need to correct other data (for example, information extracted from a document, or data you cannot edit in the interface), contact service@skill-bridge.fr with the subject line “Personal data (GDPR) — rectification” and describe what should be updated.
Request erasure (deletion)
Delete individual files
You can delete certain uploaded content (such as CVs or proposals) from within the Service when the delete option is shown. That removes the file from your workspace according to our retention practices described in the Privacy Policy.
Delete your account
You can delete your user account as follows:
- Sign in to Skillbridge.
- Open Settings → Security.
- Select Delete account.
- Type your account email address to confirm.
- Confirm permanent deletion.
This removes your user record from Skillbridge and your Firebase Authentication account, and signs you out immediately, as described in the deletion confirmation shown in the app.
Important: Account or file deletion may not immediately remove every copy of your data. Backups, security logs, derived data (for example, analysis or matching outputs), embeddings, or records linked to other users may be retained for a limited period or where we have a legal basis to keep them. See Limits on deletion below and section 6 of our Privacy Policy.
To request erasure of specific data or confirmation that deletion is complete, email service@skill-bridge.fr with the subject line “Personal data (GDPR) — erasure”.
Data about other people in your uploads
If you uploaded documents containing personal data about candidates, clients, or other individuals, you are generally responsible for ensuring a lawful basis to process that data. We process it to provide the Service on your instructions. Questions about those individuals’ rights may need to be handled by your organization; we can assist where appropriate when you contact us.
Request an export (portability)
You can request an export of personal data you have provided and data that may be subject to the right to data portability, where applicable.
There is no automated export in the application today. Email service@skill-bridge.fr with the subject line “Personal data (GDPR) — export”. We will provide data in a structured, commonly used format where feasible (for example, JSON, CSV, or files in a secure archive), using a secure delivery method.
Withdraw consent
Where we rely on your consent (for example, optional analytics or third-party cookies), you can withdraw it at any time:
- Use the cookie banner on first visit, or
- Open Cookie settings from the footer /cookie-settings, or
- When signed in: Settings → Privacy & data → Cookie settings.
Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that already took place. Optional tools such as Mixpanel or Sentry (if enabled) should stop loading new data after you refuse or withdraw the relevant cookie categories, as described in our Cookie Policy. For Sentry, withdrawing Diagnostic cookies stops the browser error monitor and Session Replay from sending new data; server-side error logs collected for stability may still be processed as described in our Privacy policy.

What to include in your request
To help us respond, please provide:
- The email address associated with your Skillbridge account;
- The right you wish to exercise;
- A clear description of the data or processing concerned;
- Any useful reference (dates, file names, features used).
Do not send your password or full payment card numbers. We may ask for additional information to verify your identity in a proportionate way.
Identity verification
We may need to confirm that a request relates to the correct account before we disclose or delete data. Verification is limited to what is necessary (for example, confirming the email address you used to register).
Response times
We aim to respond within one month of receiving a complete request, as required by the GDPR. This period may be extended by up to two further months if the request is complex or numerous, as permitted by law. We will inform you if an extension applies.
Limits on deletion
We may retain certain data when:
- Legal obligations require it (for example, accounting or tax records, including Stripe billing data if you have subscribed or paid through Stripe);
- We need data to resolve disputes, enforce our Terms of Use, or protect the security of the Service;
- Backups, logs, or technical copies have not yet been purged according to our retention cycles; or
- Data is linked to other users (for example, shared access or organization workflows) and cannot be deleted without affecting others’ lawful use.
When retention is no longer necessary, we delete or anonymize data in line with our Privacy Policy.
Complaints
If you believe we have not handled your personal data properly, please contact us first at service@skill-bridge.fr so we can try to resolve your concern.
If you are in the EEA or UK, you may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. In France, the authority is the CNIL: https://www.cnil.fr.
